Weaving Marsh Plants: Ancient Knowledge for Living Ecosystems 🌿

We are delighted to announce the launch of a new project, Weaving Marsh Plants: Ancient Knowledge for Living Ecosystems.

This project aims to combine biodiversity conservation, the recovery of traditional knowledge and the active involvement of the community through the collection and artisanal processing of marsh plants.

The initiative is implemented by the Amici del Padule di Fucecchio per la Biodiversità association, in collaboration with Intrecci Onlus and LIPU – Pistoia section, and operates in two wetlands of international importance, promoting a sustainable and participatory management model.

We are excited to be collaborating in an area rich in biodiversity that is new to us. Furthermore, the project has an important social and cultural impact, both in terms of the recovery of traditional knowledge and the training and involvement of people with disabilities.
