Become a leader in Regenerative Agronomy!
TEF is proud to support n.1 scholarship for an agronomist to participate in the project by Climate Farmers, the leading European network for regenerative agriculture, in partnership with Tenuta San Carlo which will cover the accommodation costs at their farm. An intensive 6-month training program designed to provide with the necessary skills to transition Tuscan farms toward regenerative agriculture.
The scholarship will remove financial barriers for a highly motivated Agronomy student/Agronomist who will join an advanced training programme alongside international farmers, agronomists and expert consultants, combining theoretical learning with hands-on field experience.

- knowledge of English is required, as some sessions will be held in that language

After completion of the training
The scholarship is designed as a practice-embedded pathway so upon successful completion of the Regenerative Agronomy Training, Climate Farmers commits to:
- Integrate the graduate into advisor and implementation network
- Assign the graduate to concrete on-farm advisory and implementation work in Tuscany, as and when projects arise
- Support the transition into a paid junior agronomy / advisory role, either directly with Climate Farmers or with one of the regional partner organisations operating in Tuscany.
The graduate will therefore not be “trained and released” but actively deployed into real transition projects after the program.
Expected clear and measurable outputs and reporting to TEF during the 12-month post-training period for the graduate:
1) Actively support 5-10 farms in Tuscany in the regenerative agriculture transition (depending on farm size and complexity), activities include baseline assessments, transition planning, monitoring, and farmer coaching;
2) Contribution to 2–4 knowledge-sharing activities such as:
- Guest lectures or workshops at universities or agricultural schools;
- Talks or panels at TEF-supported events or partner gatherings;
- Field days or farm walks in Tuscany.
3) Provide 2 short written reports (one every 6 months) including:
- Farms supported and type of interventions;
- Key learnings and challenges from the field;
