Ride for Nature: TEF at L’Eroica Montalcino 2026
From May 29th to 31st, the heart of Montalcino will transform into an open-air laboratory dedicated to the protection of pollinators. Tuscany Environment Foundation will be present at the Eroica with an institutional stand in the Sant’Agostino Complex to meet citizens and visitors, with a special focus on the world of bees and biodiversity.
This initiative aims to raise awareness about the vital importance of pollinators through a program filled with hands-on experiences and high-level collaborations.

Botany and Pollinators

Saturday (10:00–12:00 & 16:00–18:00) | Flower Hoop Workshop: A creative lab where you will enter the world of dried flowers, harvested while respecting biodiversity and pollinators.

Sunday (10:00–12:00) | A Journey into the World of Herbaceous Species: An accessible guide for everyone.

Youth as protagonists
On Saturday, local students will join us in the square for an immersive experience. They will offer the public a chance to deepen their knowledge of bees through an educational beehive, where you can handle beekeeping tools and end on a sweet note with a tasting of local honeys.

Community Science
On Saturday, a free BioBlitz (suitable for children) will be organized in the park to observe bees and other insects using field sheets downloaded from the Life4Pollinators website.
