𝟐𝟓𝟕 New lives take to the sea! 🐢

The hatching season keeps bringing us wonderful emotions.

Last week, at the Rimigliano Nursery, eggs from three nests hatched almost simultaneously!

🌊 On Sunday, August 24th, 257 baby turtles made it safely to the sea, beginning their journey of life.

As Daniele Pagli, engineer and volunteer of TartAmare, explains to us in the video, these nests were relocated, carefully moved from Santa Lucia’s Beach and Bagno il Delfino in San Vincenzo to give them the best chance of survival.

💙 This amazing outcome shows how crucial collaboration between institutions, volunteers and citizens is to protecting sea turtles.
