TEF will support X-Polli:Nation in 2023

X-Polli:Nation is an actionable citizen science project designed to create awareness of environmental issues that surround pollinating insects, collect data on their feeding preferences for science, plant habitats to support them and finds novel ways to communicate their importance with a wider community. X-Polli:Nation has been going on successfully for 4 years thanks to the funding provided by the Tuscany Environment Foundation. With this new grant, X:PolliNation aims to involve in the project more than 2,000 participants, including schoolchildren, residents, and tourists across the whole region. Besides, X:PolliNation will involve municipalities in managing their green spaces in more pollinators-friendly ways, for instance by planting wildflowers in roundabouts and city parks.
