Artisan Agriculture

“𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞” is the term used to describe the set of non-entrepreneurial activities of care and maintenance of the territory through plants and animals, with consequent food production, without the use of pesticides and with the maximum diversity of crops.”

These are the words of Giannozzo Pucci, President of the Study Center for New Peasant Agriculture and one of the most important figures of Italian environmentalism, who on February 28th hosted us in his historic Florentine residence.

In the presence of local administrators, agronomists, farmers, teachers and interested citizens, 12 points were shared and discussed to concretely support small producers.

Farmers are custodians of the land and the driving force of the social fabric of communities.
