Tuscany’s deep agricultural roots stretch all the way back to the Romans and Etruscans, shaping the iconic landscape of vineyards and olive groves we see today. But modern, intensive farming is taking a heavy toll, triggering a quiet but widespread decline in local biodiversity and soil degradation.

TEF is working to reverse this trend. We support projects that help local farmers learn about and adopt natural and regenerative methods. The goal? To farm healthily, working in harmony with nature and creating a resilient landscape capable of withstanding climate shocks.
